Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role was the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). The role she played was that of Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie of 2015 Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for students of the 2012 class as she was a graduate. Harvard University was willing to accept her. She declined the opportunity twice. The second time it was because she wanted to be a part of Nashville. Peeples starred as a guest in the film Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples was a part of the made-for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The latter was her most prominent role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama series in its second season. In 2019 Peeples talked about having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire placed Peeples at the top of its list of best actors under the age of twenty-one in September of 2014.
